Anchor-Maric Nigeria Limited was incorporated in the year 1999 and commenced operations immediately with a corporate goal of meeting the quality need of our numerous clients.

MANAGEMENT PROFILE

The management of AMNL, headed by the Managing Director/CEO, MR R.A. ADEFIRANYE is ably supported by experienced professionals in Civil, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Finance Management.

JOSEPH EDWIN HAMMOND (DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER)
A Quantity Surveyor by training and qualification, Mr Hammond joined the company with an impressive profile.  He was the Tendering/Project Manager of a Stock Exchange-listed company, Japaul Oil & Maritime Services Plc, Operations Controller at a dredging company Tamstel Nigeria Limited, and Operations Superintendent/Cost Controller (West) at W.W. White International Limited, all in Port Harcourt.  He also worked at Sundance West Africa Limited/SEMT at Port Gentil, Republic of Gabon, and O.K.I. & Sons Nigeria Limited, Port Harcourt. He worked in several companies in Ghana as a Quantity Surveyor, including Beno Construction Limited, Accra, Daaku & Co. [Chartered Quantity Surveyors], Modern Ghana Builders Limited, Accra, and State Construction Corporation, Accra. Mr Hammond is the driver of engineering operations in the company.

MR. ANTHONY OLUMIDE OLAJIDE (PRINCIPAL MANAGER - FINANCE)
Mr. Olajide received his Education from the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti where he had the HND Certificate and later proceeded to the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt where he obtained the PGD (Business Studies) and MBA degree in Banking and Finance respectively.

He has several years of professional experience on the job especially in the Oil, Gas and Energy Sectors and the Construction Industry. Until His joining AMNL, He was Manager and Head of Finance & Investments of POLAK NIGERIA LIMITED, a reputable Engineering and Construction Company in Port Harcourt.

As the Head of Finance of AMNL, Mr. Olajide is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).

ENGR. OHWOFASA UTI (SENIOR MANAGER, PROJECT MANAGEMENT)
Engr. Uti attended the University of Benin and holds the Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He has rich experience in the oil and gas and general engineering industry.  Among the reputable companies he has worked in are Mishkat Nigeria Limited, Al-Dawson International Limited, Firenze Oil & Gas Services Nigeria Limited, William Lloyds Technical Company Limited, McJaga Nigeria Limited, and Danglobe Nigeria Limited – all in Port Harcourt.

He also worked in Emudes International Limited, Warri, and Zakhem International Construction Company Limited, Suleja.  Engr. Uti played a strategic role in the construction of some landmark engineering projects in Nigeria including the NNPC Inter-State Pipeline and PPM Depots Project at Suleja, Niger State, and the Cawthorn Channel Gas Gathering Project of SPDC/DAEWOO.

MAGNUS CHIMA AMADI (SENIOR MANAGER, ADMINISTRATION AND HUMAN RESOURCES)
Mr Amadi joined the company with a deep background in administrative management.  He has worked in diverse sectors of the Nigerian economy.  He was the Group Administration and Human Resources Manager of Cogipar Nigeria Limited. He was the Administration and Human Resources Manager of Vernon Engineering Services Limited, Port Harcourt.  He managed the Management Consulting and Company Secretarial subsidiary of Spiropoulos Adiele Okpara & Co [Chartered Accountants], based in Owerri.  He was a Regional Manager with a foremost stockbroking and investment banking firm – Thomas Kingsley Securities Limited, and was Assistant Manager at the Nigerian Agricultural and Co-operative Bank Limited.  Additionally, he held lectureship positions [part-time] at Imo State University, ESUT, Chartered Institute of Administration, and the Graduate School of Management in Port Harcourt.

Magnus is an MBA graduate of the University of Wales, Bangor, United Kingdom.  He is a Chartered Secretary and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, London and Nigeria.  He is a Chartered Administrator and Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Administration of Nigeria, as well as a Full Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management [Chartered].

MR. BENJAMIN AKINDOYIN OJO (HEAD ENVIRONMENTAL)
Mr. Ojo Benjamin holds a Bachelor degree in Geology from the University of Jos Nigeria. Until his appointment in AMNL, he was the logistics officer in Clemens Engineering Co. Limited, Lagos. He is currently heading the Environmental department of the company.

EMMANUEL ADETORO OYERINMADE (HEAD LOGISTICS & PUBLIC RELATIONS)
Oyerinmade Emmanuel Adetoro holds a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He has several years of professional experience not only in Electrical Engineering but also in Mechanical Engineering on the job especially with oil, gas, and Energy sector and construction industry. Before he joined AMNL as the head of logistics/Public Relations, he worked with Electrical Department in Standard Engineering and Construction Company Warri.

MICHAEL OREKHA (HSE OFFICER)
Mike has great expertise in safety management.  He worked as HSE Officer at Mishkat Engineering Limited, Homan Engineering Limited, and W.W. White International Limited, all in Port Harcourt, among other reputable companies he gained respectable experience from.

He attended the Edo State University and graduated with a BA (Honours) in English.  He is also an alumnus of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University from where he received the Postgraduate Diploma in Management.  He is a Graduate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals and has attended numerous courses in diverse areas of safety management. Mike deploys his intense knowledge of safety issues to ensure zero accident record in the company’s operations.

MISS CHINYERE IJEOMA AWAMBU (ADMINISTRATIVE AND HUMAN RESOURCES EXECUTIVE)
Miss Awambu Chinyere Ijeoma started as the Clients Relations Officer of AMNL until she rose to the current position as the Administration and human resources Executive of the company.

She had over the years cognate Clients Relations Management and Administrative experiences with many reputable establishments amongst which are Edo Line Company Limited Benin and I.E CHITEX Company, Port Harcourt.

Miss Chinyere is a Public Administration Graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka and a post graduate Business studies Certificate holder of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.

She is a member of Institute of Public Management (MIPM)Unique.
